Harmony has broken out between Sir Alex Ferguson and Rafa Benitez as they joined forces to berate the Premier League in a fixture row.The pair fell out over Liverpool's efforts to lure Gabriel Heinze from Manchester United in the summer.
But Liverpool boss Benitez's beef about kick-off times for the big clubs following international and European matches has seen United manager Fergie back him.
"I know Rafa is complaining and he is quite right to complain. He is making the point about lunch-time kick offs," said Sir Alex.
"If there is an unfairness against teams it should be addressed. Over the last five years we have had more lunchtime kick-offs than anyone. How you complain I don't know. Five years as the most televised team at lunch-time you would think deserves some sort of attention.
"Last year Chelsea had a Sunday game against Tottenham followed by a Tuesday European tie. The Premier League changed, at Chelsea's behest, to a Saturday.
"It gave Chelsea a three-day rest to prepare for Europe, which is fine, but it gave Tottenham only a day and a half rest after a European game. So there was no fairness there. Rafa has a good point. If there is unfairness it has to be addressed."
